It helps to include your device model, your iOS version, and roughly where and when the problem happened. If it's about a specific camera, a street name or intersection is enough.
Usually this is the app working as designed. Flashr is built to stay quiet unless a warning would actually change what you do, so there are three ordinary reasons for silence:
If none of those explain it — you were well over the limit, in hours, with permissions granted — that is a bug and we want to hear about it. Email us with the location and time.
Flashr keeps warning you with the app minimized and the screen off, but iOS only allows that with the right permission. In the iPhone Settings app, open Flashr and confirm:
Flashr drops to a low-power mode a few minutes after you stop moving and wakes when the car starts again, so leaving it running while parked costs very little. If you're seeing heavy drain, check that Location is set to Always rather than being repeatedly re-granted, and email us with a screenshot of Settings → Battery.
Our database comes from official municipal open data, community reports, and manual verification, and enforcement changes constantly. You can fix it two ways:
Flags go into a review queue and are checked by hand against the source data before anything changes.
Flashr covers Canadian traffic-enforcement cameras, with the deepest coverage in Alberta — where the great majority of the country's photo radar operates. The coverage page has current counts by city, and the province legality guide explains where camera enforcement exists at all. Community reporting works everywhere, including provinces with no fixed cameras.
Flashr is a driver-assistance aid, not a guarantee. Always obey posted limits and traffic laws whether or not Flashr alerts you, set the app up before you drive, and never operate your phone while driving. Submitting community reports while driving may be illegal under provincial distracted-driving laws. See the Terms of Service.
Email support@flashr.app. If you're reporting a bug, the most useful things you can send are your device model, your iOS version, and what you expected to happen versus what did.
